Greta Thunberg doesn’t write her own Facebook posts. They are largely written for her by grown-up environmental activists including her father Svante Thunberg and an Indian delegate to the U.N. Climate Secretariat called Adarsh Pratap.
The truth emerged as a result of a Facebook glitch revealed by Wired. A bug made it briefly possible to see who was really running the accounts of celebrity puppets like Greta.
Greta Thunberg the teenage Climate Puppet has gone full Marxist.
In her latest public statement, she says that the ‘climate crisis is not just about the environment’:
It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all.
Greta the Climate Puppet goes full-Marxist:
"After all, the climate crisis is not just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it." https://t.co/mffeq9eAKP
China is planning massively to ramp up its coal-fired energy production. This makes a nonsense of claims by gullible Western politicians and dishonest environmental activists that China is as keen as anyone to do its bit to ‘combat climate change.’
Bloomberg reports that China now has enough coal-fired power plants in the pipeline to match the entire capacity of the European Union, ‘driving the expansion in global coal power and confounding the movement against the polluting fossil fuel.’
The green energy targets being pursued by Britain’s main political parties are so impossibly deluded, fantastical and overambitious that they could only be achievable with the intervention of herds of magical unicorns.
So says Cambridge engineering professor Michael Kelly in a stinging rebuke to the Net Zero policies currently being championed by Boris Johnson and his rivals in their desperate race to the green bottom. The Conservatives, Labour and the Liberal Democrats are all committed to carbon emissions reduction targets which they cannot hope to attain and which will be hugely damaging both to Britain’s prosperity and freedoms.
Professor Kelly has said:
“For the world to reverse two centuries of industrial development in a few decades would require the efforts of herds of unicorns.”
Margaret Atwood has declared Greta Thunberg the ‘Joan of Arc of the environment.’
The Canadian novelist, best known for her dystopian feminist fable The Handmaid’s Tale, was speaking on the podcast of the environmental extremist action group Extinction Rebellion.
Nearly half of all Conservative voters back swingeing carbon reduction measures even more drastic than the insane ones already proposed by the government, according to a poll currently being bigged up excitedly by the Guardian.
Boris Johnson’s government is promising to deliver Net Zero (carbon dioxide emissions) by 2050. But according to the poll, many of his voters think that that is just not soon enough.
A majority of the UK public and almost half of Conservative voters support a radical plan to transform the economy and tackle the climate crisis, a poll suggests.
YouGov found that 56% of people back the total decarbonisation of the UK economy by 2030 and just under half support public spending to make large swathes of public transport free to use.
What these findings mean, claims the Guardian, is that there is:
“…a growing awareness of the scale of the climate crisis and the increasingly radical policy solutions the public is willing to support.”
Absolute tosh. They simply reflect the way that the poll question was worded.
School drop-out, global irritant, and Nobel Peace Prize nominee Greta Thunberg has found yet another cause to badger us with: saving the world’s trees.
”World losing area of forest the size of the UK each year.” We should of course be planting as many trees as possible. But equally important – and hardly ever mentioned – is to leave the existing ones standing and to leave the natural habitats intact. https://t.co/0EGDMZY7vf
Russian leader Vladimir Putin has dismissed climate activist Greta Thunberg as a ‘poorly informed teenager.’
“Nobody explained to Greta that the modern world is complicated and complex.”
Vladimir Putin says he does not “share everyone’s enthusiasm” about Greta Thunberg. The Swedish teenager has inspired millions of young people to take to the streets to highlight the climate crisis. pic.twitter.com/sx87y6Sv3B
Across the Western world tens of thousands of brainwashed kids are bunking off school in what has misleadingly been described as a ‘Climate Strike.’
No. A strike involves the withholding of productive labour. These kids are simply playing truant using the best ‘dog ate my homework’ excuse evah: ‘If I don’t do this, the planet will die!!’
To give us an idea of just how ignorant these kids are on the so-called ‘climate emergency’, Guardian Australia has helpfully released a video.
“I want you to unite behind the science,” said Greta Thunberg to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and Select Committee on the Climate Crisis.
Finally, something on which the pig-tailed 16-year-old Swedish climate activist and I can agree. I too believe passionately that if the world’s governments are going to spend upwards of $1.5 trillion of our money a year on ‘combating climate change’ then at least they ought to have some credible evidence that this expenditure is necessary.
Perhaps, I thought, some of this credible evidence might be presented at today’s Climate Crisis Hearing, subtitled ‘Voices Leading the Next Generation on the Global Climate Crisis.’
Instead, all that I heard was the usual junk science, fake statistics, left-wing agitprop, and scaremongering nonsense regurgitated by kids — some claiming to have mental health issues — who’d been brainwashed at school by their left-wing, know-nothing teachers.
