You are aware that the Pakistan has a median age of 22.8, the UK 40.3.
More so, if you demographic weight C19 age banded IFRs the UK’s is 0.68%, but Pakistan’s just 0.12%.
The UK will see 5.7x the deaths of Pakistan, it has 5% 80+, they have <1%, never mind being far less obese, etc.
I can see why they have decided it far less of a threat.
Don’t see how you can apply a one size fits all argument to both countries.
